This simple Serif typeface came about on a type design and FontLab workshop that I once held at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar in 2005 for fellow students. I asked them to draw a set of letters and vectorize them.
I created one myself to visualize the process, and decided to make it into a finished font. The whole design process took one day (Tagesschrift = day font). Okay, I needed another one for the kerning. A two day font.
The use of this typeface is free of charge under a Creative Commons License, even for commercial use. However, if you see the amount of work I put into it and feel like inviting me to a cup of coffee in return, please feel free to donate some ca$$$h to my PayPal account.
